Tenderers are hereby invited in Terms of Section 83 of The Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 2000 (ACT 32 OF 2000) as well as the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2001 pertaining to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (as amended). Read with Supply Chain Management Regulations as published in Government Gazette 40553 dated 20 January 2017, the Preferred Procurement Regulation of 2017 which came to effect on the 1st of April 2017

Tender documents containing details of the specifications and conditions will be available from 15 October 2019 upon payment of non-refundable document cost of R600 from the Department Finance, First Floor, Room 105, Supply Chain Management Unit, Municipal Offices, Corner of Sol Plaatjie Avenue and Wolmarans Street, Potchefstroom.

THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR THE SUBMISSION OF TENDERS IS ON 26/11/2019 at 12H00.

Tenders will be received until 12:00 on 26/11/2019 and will be opened in public in the Committee Room, Room 315, 3rd Floor Municipal Offices, Dan Tloome Building, corner of Sol Plaatjie Avenue and Wolmarans Street, Potchefstroom.

The Municipality reserves the right to accept any tender or not accept any tender at all. At the Council’s discretion the lowest tender shall not necessarily be accepted.

Interested parties must supply the necessary information in order to comply with the requirements of Section 83 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 2000 (Act 32 of 2000) and subject to the conditions of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 2000 (Act 5 of 2000) as well as the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2001 pertaining to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (as amended).

The tenderers must also comply with the Supply Chain Management Regulations as published in Government Gazette 40553 dated 20 January 2017, the Preferred Procurement Regulation of 2017 which came to effect on the 1st of April 2017
